Our first trip with the new camper was again to Lake Guntersville State Park (an Alabama State Park campground).
It was SOOO cold, but we had a blast. The entire family came, 6 people and 2 dogs in all. Our camper does sleep 6, but not for very long… good thing it was just for a few nights. But, made the best of it with chilling temperatures, figuring out how the heater worked. We just picked it up a month ago and was still in “winterized” stage… nothing worked for heat, hot water, etc. After a few phone calls, got her up and going.
The deer were out by the dozens. My mom hand fed a few even. Geese and Herons everywhere as well. Got the campfire going with my dad’s help of blocking the wind. My brother-in-law sat by the fire… well, for about 30 minutes… did I mention it was COLD!?
Thanks for riding along…
